Please note:
The Castle is closed on Wednesday 9 July for a private function.
The Castle will be open to
visitors from 20th March 2008 until 2nd November 2008 daily
(except Saturdays) from 10am to 5.30pm.
The first guided tour is at 10.30am running at approximately 3/4
or 1/2 hr intervals thereafter. The last tour is at 4.30pm - and
may be earlier in October due to shorter daylight hours.
The Secret Garden and Courtenay Fort are open from 10.30am to
4.00pm.
The Woodland Garden and Belvedere are open until 1 August.
The ground floor of
the Castle is accessible to wheelchair users. A wheelchair is
available for loan, whilst in the Castle only. The Secret Garden
is accessible to visitors with wheelchairs and pushchairs,
although there are some steep slopes.
Opening times
and other details are subject to change, without prior notice. We
reserve the right to close all or part of the grounds and Castle
as necessary.
