More than 50 people work full or part-time on the Powderham Estate in both permanent and seasonal positions. There is a diverse range of jobs across the Estate departments.

From time to time the positions below become available. The positions are seasonal and are available from Mar/April to the end of October. Currently, there are NO vacancies of the type below, however we invite you to download and complete an application form which we will hold on our records for 6 months. We do take on work experience students in various areas of the organisation. Please complete an application form and post it with a covering letter describing the type of position you are seeking and the time period required.

If you would like to work at the Castle but there are no suitable vacancies please complete an application form and post it with a covering letter describing the type of position you are seeking. For example ‘I would like to be considered for working during school holiday periods only, up to 3 days per week. All applications will be retained on file for six months and should a suitable position arise you will be contacted.
