Working at  Powderham Castle

More than 50 people work full or part-time on the Powderham Estate in both permanent and seasonal positions. There is a diverse range of jobs across the Estate departments.

Although we currently have no vacancies, occasionally the following positions do become available throughout the season. If you would like to be considered in the future you may send in an application form and we will keep it on file for 6 months.

We do take on work experience students in various areas of the organisation. Please complete an application form and post it with a covering letter describing the type of position you are seeking and the time period required.

What to do if there are no suitable positions for you on this page

If you would like to work at the Castle but there are no suitable positions please complete an application form and post it with a covering letter describing the type of position you are seeking. For example ‘I would like to be considered for working during school holiday periods only, up to 3 days per week. All applications will be retained on file for six months and should a suitable position arise you will be contacted.
