Courtyard Gift Shop

The Courtyard Gift Shop stocks a range of gifts and our souvenir brochure - a lovely memento of a great day out. There are pocket money items for children, including Powderham Castle branded pens and rubbers as well as larger gifts like jewellery and ornaments and even wall clocks made by a local clockmaker who lives on the Estate.

If you would like to make use of the tennis court in the Pleasure Garden, book your time slot in the Gift Shop and you can borrow our tennis rackets and balls - simply leave a £20 refundable deposit for their loan.

The board outside the Gift Shop displays the time of the next tour and activities available for the day. Visitors are welcome to wait here for the tour, alternatively there is seating inside in the Courtenay Gallery.

The narrow entrance and few steps makes it inaccessible to wheelchair users. However there are gifts available to purchase at the Powderham Trading Co at the Country Store (located at the top of the drive). The Country Store is worth a visit on your way home with its lovely food hall, Toby Buckland's plant shop and Plantagenesta (a family history research centre).
