Opening Times & Prices

The Castle & grounds will be open to visitors from 1 April until 30 October 2011. Sunday to Friday (Also Saturday 23 April, 27 August, 29 October.)

We sometimes close for Private Functions, so please check the website or call us on 01626 890243 before making a special jouarney.*

Opening Times

11.00am to 4.30pm

11.00am to 5.30pm (24 July - 2 September)

The first guided tour is at 11.15am running at approximately 3/4 or 1/2 hour intervals thereafter, depending on the time of year. The last tour is an hour before closing.

Please note on Fridays the last guided tour is at 2.30pm, however the grounds including the Walled Garden Play Area & Pets Corner, Tea Room and Gift Shop are still open.

* The Castle and grounds will be closed on Friday 21 October as we have a private function.

The Woodland Garden and Belvedere are open until 1 August.

The ground floor of the Castle is accessible to wheelchair users. A wheelchair is available for loan, whilst in the Castle only. The Walled Garden Play Area & Pets Corner is accessible to visitors with wheelchairs and pushchairs, although there are some steep slopes.

Opening times and other details are subject to change without prior notice. We reserve the right to close all or part of the grounds and Castle as necessary.

Simply validate your ticket at the Welcome Hut or Gift Shop before you leave. Proof of ID will be required.
