Powderham Castle is a truly magical place to hold your wedding reception.

The 600-year-old Castle is set amidst a beautiful Deer Park with breathtaking views across the Exe Estuary. The stunning location lends itself to all manner of wedding styles; the Rose Garden Terrace is ideal for a summer champagne reception and the majestic rooms are available to hire in many different combinations to suit your individual requirements. The vast Music Room is light and airy; with a splendid domed ceiling creating wonderful acoustics and the Dining Room has an exceptionally warm and welcoming atmosphere with a fireplace and minstrel's gallery often used by string quartets.

Powderham Castle is an extremely flexible venue for wedding receptions. We can cater from 2 to 170 guests and if you would like a larger occasion you can even put up a marquee in the Deer Park.
