Documental Productions, Bristol Old Vic and Pleasance presents SCAFFOLDING

Written by Lucy Bell | Directed by Lillian Waddington

Sheridan is having a bad day.

Her church is closing, Adult Social Care are on her case and she can’t work out what ingredients she needs from Homebase to make a bomb.

With no one else to turn to, she climbs the scaffolding around the leaking church steeple with a few questions for Whoever Is In Charge.

From multi award-winning Documental Productions, Scaffolding is an explosive show about strength, love and community.

‘An incredibly brilliant and well-drawn character’ Molly Naylor (Stop Trying to Be Fantastic)

‘Funny and moving: an adventure’ Tom Jackson Greaves (Theatre Royal Plymouth)

FROM DEVON WITH LOVE: This is a work in progress preview show to test the play ahead of its Edinburgh festival run in partnership with Bristol Old Vic and The Pleasance.

This is a moving, funny story created in rural Devon and set in with rural Devon with quite a few locations Villages in Action audiences may recognise!

Come ready to have fun and be game, as we may need you to help finish the story! After the performance there will be a short interval and then a post show discussion.

Content warning: This show contains strong language and distressing or potentially triggering themes, including grief & low parental capacity.
