Join us from Friday 11th - Sunday 20th September for an amazing FREE day out!* 

Our knowledgeable and friendly guides welcome you to wander through the magnificent rooms; from Monday 14th - Thursday 17th September, join one of our exclusive, never-seen-before, socially distanced guided tours (groups are limited to 12 persons max. booking in advance is advised to avoid disappointment), and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays view the Castle at your leisure via our Open House sessions**. Get an up close look at interesting artefacts from our archives, immerse yourself in our extensive exhibition and expand your knowledge with fascinating talks on Powderham and the local community. 

There's lots to do outside too: relax and explore in our beautiful gardens and grounds, follow our family friendly Nature Trail and magical Fairytale Trail, visit the Pet’s Corner and Play Area in the Walled Garden, and get a glimpse of the majestic Fallow Deer with stunning views over the Estuary.

Be sure to complete your visit with a delicious Devonshire Cream Tea or ice cream!
