Waldstein Quintet, Greta Papa - Violin, Daniel Pukach - Violin, Natalia Solis Paredes - Viola, Miguel Vileza - Cello & Christo Fountos - Piano.
The Waldstein Quartet currently holds the Philip Carne Junior Fellowship for a Chamber Ensemble at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. They are an accomplished group, with notable performances in venues and festivals such as Wigmore Hall, St James’s Piccadilly and the Dartington Summer Music Course. Winners of the Trinity Laban Barbirolli String Quartet Competition in 2022, tonight they are joined by pianist Christos Fountos, further expanding their repertoire, and will include in their programme Shostakovich Piano Quintet in G minor.
