Music in the Castle, Willshire Piano Duo

Originally scheduled to perform for us in 2020, this internationally acclaimed Duo will hopefully be able to make a definite appearance for us this year! Philippa and James perform a wide variety of repertoire on one or two pianos, from Saint-Saëns Carnival of the Animals and Britten’s works for two pianos to new commissions such as Duelogue by Rory Boyle. In addition to their performance work they are keen educationalists, giving masterclasses and promoting music in schools.
