Charities of the Year 2020

Every year, Powderham Castle supports many fantastic causes, and picks two charities of the year to show additional support.

Previous charities include THAT Food Bank, City Community Trust, Xplore Youth Group and many more!

This season, the castle is supporting The Cave, a fantastic and inspiring local rehearsal studio in Teignmouth ensuring affordable and local space for all walks of life but especially valued by teenagers, retirees and those with special needs. We are also supporting Veterans With Dogs, which provides training of assistance dogs to mitigate the symptoms of mental health difficulties for veterans and active-duty service members. You can find their website here, and discover how you can support them.

We are proud to work with both organisations and look forward to introducing their work to visitors throughout the season.
