Powderham Castle's Charities of the Year 2019

Powderham Castle has announced partnerships with two new charities for 2019, THAT Food Bank and Exeter City Community Trust.

Teignbridge Homeless Action Today (THAT) works to alleviate food poverty and help address the underlying issues to provide a positive outcome for people in the Teignbridge area. With tailored food and home packs put together with high quality products, they also provide packs for people without access to a cooker or kitchen equipment.

Exeter City Community Trust is Exeter’s leading health and wellbeing charity in partnership with Exeter City Football Club. With inspiring physical activity, education, health and wellbeing programmes for all members of the community, the spread of the work is growing all the time.

Powderham Castle partners with two charities per year to learn about their work, help support and spread awareness of issues affecting local communities and what we can do to help.
