At Powderham, it can be!

Join our energetic team, and spread Christmas cheer to hundreds of families this December. As an Events Team Member you will be an important part of one of the biggest Christmas events in Devon.

We are looking for team members to assist at Christmas at the Castle, a month-long event at Powderham Castle. The event includes a Christmas light walk, food, drink, grotto and petting zoo!

We’ll expect you to be confident, hardworking and enthusiastic. You will help to ensure that the event runs safely and smoothly and visitors have an amazing time. You will be expected to work on evenings and weekends throughout the Christmas period (27th November – 31st December 2023).

Roles include:

• Stewarding (outdoors)

• Grotto elf

• Bar work

• Coffee hut service

• Welcome team assistant

• Houskeeping/ cleaners

• Castle steward

Essential Attributes/ Experience:

• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends

• Must be aged 16 or over

• Friendly, energetic, and welcoming

• Enjoy working within a team

• Enthusiastic with a love for Christmas

• Prepared to work outdoors (warm clothing provided!)

• Willing to wear a Christmas hat!
