We hear you, it’s daunting... especially with all the current restrictions. So let us guide you with 5 easy steps to wedding planning during lockdown.
1. Book in a virtual showround

2. Reach out to suppliers
It’s a quiet time for suppliers right now, with many self-employed suppliers at home doing admin, instead of being out at weddings and events. This means that they are available to contact and mostly likely will respond even quicker than usual!
That being said, for bigger companies, some staff may be on furlough, so don’t be disheartened if they don’t get back to you straight away. By starting wedding planning early and reaching out to suppliers now, it doesn’t matter if it does take slightly longer than normal to arrange things, as you will be ahead of schedule anyway!

3. Start a vision board
Pinterest is perfect for creating vision boards for your wedding, so you can keep all of your favourite images in one place, as well as being recommended similar images that you may like.
Did you know that Instagram has a similar feature? When you save an image, you can save it to a specific collection - the same thing as a Pinterest board!
4. Write your guest list
Who do you really want to be around you for your big day? Who can’t you imagine spending your wedding without? Spend this time during lockdown to write your guest list with your partner and decide on a rough number for the day and evening.
5. Create a playlist
What song will you walk down the aisle to? Perhaps you and your partner have ‘your song’ sorted, or you need to look for some romantic ideas on platforms like Spotify or Apple Music.
You may be thinking of having background music during your wedding breakfast, and perhaps a party playlist in the evening. Schedule a date night at home, pour some Prosecco and create your perfect party playlist for your wedding!
