Group visits to Powderham Castle are special. Whether you are a tour operator or a group of friends with a shared interest, we can offer a wonderful and memorable visit.

A visit to Devon isn't complete without a visit to Powderham, home of the Earl of Devon and a stone's throw from Exeter. If you are looking for a day trip or staying nearby we are accessible by coach, car, bus, rail and even a ferry! Whether you’d like to explore at your own pace or enjoy a specialist tour, we can tailor a bespoke visit to suit you.

Explore the castle at your own pace and join free flow around the ground floor State Rooms at Powderham.

These prices apply to groups of 15 or more. The Group Organiser and Coach Driver are entitled to free admission.

Entrance to the Castle and Grounds.

£10 per person. 

 

Winter Warmers

Explore the castle at your own pace and join free flow around the ground floor State Rooms at Powderham.

Once you have finished exploring, warm up with soup and sandwiches in our Coach House.

(Available October through to April. Excluding December.)

£18.95 Per Person

Upstairs Downstairs Tour

The Upstairs Tour offers a different view. Visit never-before-seen family bedrooms, and offer a host of intimate and personal insights, spooky stories, and winding staircases used for generations.

 

Powderham Today Tour

Join Powderham’s Heritage Manager for a tour of the castle, with elements of the past, present and future. An interactive opportunity to asks questions as you explore. A unique insight into how Powderham came to be, and how it continues to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

Please note these tours require a minimum of 20 people.

Discover the history of Powderham’s ground and estate.  Led by one of the Powderham garden team you will be able to explore our Rose Terrace, Pleasure Gardens, American Gardens and much more. 

Why not extend your tour to include our Deer Park and Belvedere Tower with our Tractor Trailer Ride.
